SURROUNDINGS

We are in a wonderfully quiet location with a view on the village of Sainte Croix, in the middle of nature, but only 10 minutes from Montcuq and Lauzerte. Montcuq is a historic village, located on the route of Compostella, with nice restaurants and bars, shops, supermarket, ... Every Sunday morning you will find a beautiful market here and there is a large swimming lake. Other nice villages in the area with shops, terraces, restaurants etc are Lauzerte, Montaigu de Quercy, Castelnau Montratier, etc.

We are also very centrally located to explore all the beautiful places in the Lot region. And there is really a lot to do and discover here: castles, prehistoric caves, museums, wine tasting, canoeing on the rivers, cycling, horse riding, fishing, golf,. We also recommend the beautiful picturesque old towns that you can visit nearby, such as Penne d'Agenais, Lauzerte, Pujols, Sarlat, Gourdon, Cahors, Souillac, Brive, Saint-Cirq-Lapopie. And do not forget Rocamadour, where you really feel like you are back in the Middle Ages.
